A live customizable word game
in your chat.
ZOZ brings Wordle-style gameplay to your stream: a customizable OBS overlay, word lists and themed pools you can create and edit, Channel Points and chat commands to run rounds, and animated tiles as chat submits guesses.
Quick Install,
Intuitive Setup
ZOZ runs through Zeek's App Manager (ZAM), a lightweight hub that handles your Twitch connection and all your Zeek apps in one place.
-
Download and run the installer.
Windows protected your PC? This is completely normal for independently made apps that haven't gone through Microsoft's paid code-signing process. Click More info → Run anyway to continue. You'll only see this once.
- Open ZAM. Click the Settings tab and then Connect Twitch Account. A browser window will open — click Authorize and you're connected.
- Head back to the main tab. You'll see your ZOZ card with your browser source link ready to copy.
- Paste that link into a new browser source in OBS. Size and position it wherever you want the game board to appear on your stream.
- Now you can start making it unique for your stream by clicking the Settings button on your ZOZ card in ZAM to customize the look, create your word list(s), and configure your game settings.

Classic Wordle gameplay,
tailored to your community
The Board
ZOZ puts a six-row Wordle grid directly on your stream overlay. Each row holds one five-letter guess — and as chat plays, the board fills in live for everyone watching.
- Green — right letter, right spot
- Yellow — right letter, wrong spot
- Gray — letter not in the word
The letter keyboard below the board updates with each guess too, so your chat can see at a glance which letters are still in play.
How Chat Plays
While a round is active, viewers play by typing one five-letter word per chat message.
- Valid guesses fill the next row on the board in order — words must be on your channel's active list for that round.
- Fair-play limits you can add: per-viewer guess cooldown, max guesses per viewer per round, duplicate-word rejection.
- Round timer — optional automatic end when time runs out.
Wins & Losses
- Win: Guess the secret word within 6 valid guesses and before the timer runs out (if you have a round timer set). Fun effects go off in the overlay to celebrate!
- Loss: Fail to guess the secret word in 6 valid attempts or run out of time (if round timer is set) and the board reveals the answer before ending the round with loss animations.
Word Lists
Use a main word list, with the option to create easy / medium / hard pools or custom lists for themed games!
Examples: Food list for only food-related words, Anime list for anime character names, or a list for words having to do with yourself and your stream to make it super personal!
Make it match
your aesthetic
Colors & Appearance
Change the colors and look of your game overlay to make it fit your stream!
- Correct / present / absent tile colors and keyboard unused-key color
- Grid frame — solid or animated gradient frame around the board (gradient colors, angle, motion)
- Profile column — show or hide viewer avatar and name beside the row of each person's guess
- Win / loss FX & sounds — upload audio to play for wins and losses. Option to trigger an overlay profile in ZOD (if you own & configure ZOD)
Timing & Turns
Set a round time limit (seconds) so the game can end automatically — the overlay shows a countdown. Tune guess cooldown and max guesses per chatter per round so busy channels stay playable.
Control how long the end screen (including optional post-game top-3) stays visible before the overlay fades — time to react on camera without the board disappearing instantly.

Commands & stats
Control the round of your game using configurable chat commands or channel point redeems. You can also choose who has permissions to start or stop a round.
- Start/End a Round — defaults
!wordlestartand!wordleendfor permitted roles. - Word list edits — defaults
!addwordand!rmwordfor permitted roles. - Stats in chat —
!wstats(your stats),!wlb(leaderboard top N),!wltotals(channel totals); reply templates and cooldowns are customizable.
Save Stats
ZOZ saves stats locally per channel: wins, losses, guesses, best solve row, and win streaks — so your regular players rack up a history over time.
After a round, the overlay can show an optional post-game top 3 winners panel on OBS (toggle in settings). For a quick flex between rounds, viewers can also trigger leaderboard text in chat with !wlb (subject to cooldown).
